"Clear prices, but delivery info could be better"
The pricing was easy to understand, and I did appreciate that there weren’t any random surprises at checkout. That said, I still found myself a little annoyed because the delivery costs weren’t explained as clearly as everything else. It wasn’t a huge problem, but that missing detail definitely stood out to me

"Nice stone, delivery took its sweet time"
Ordered some patio slabs from Cheshire Sandstone and, to be fair, they do look good. The colour was close to the photos, which was a pleasant surprise because apparently that’s not always a given. A few slabs had chips on the edges, which wasn’t ideal, and the delivery was slower than I expected. Customer service did get back to me eventually, so there’s that. Overall, not a terrible experience, but it definitely could have been a lot smoother.

"Really easy site to use"
I was in a chilled mood when I had a look around cheshiresandstone.com, and thankfully the site didn’t make things complicated. The pages loaded fine, and I found the paving I wanted without having to click around forever. The photos and product details were clear enough too, so the whole thing felt nice and straightforward, which was exactly what I needed.

I ordered some sandstone and, to be honest, I’m particular about deliveries turning up when they’re supposed to, so I was a bit nervous about the timing. But it arrived on the exact day they’d given me, and the driver even called ahead before getting here. Straightforward, no hassle, and it met the standard I’d hope for. Really happy with the whole thing

"Good stock, just one missing"
Most of the slabs I wanted were in stock. One colour wasn’t available. Ordering was still easy though. Overall, I’m happy with it.

"Aftercare advice was decent"
The aftercare advice was okay and did help a bit, but personally I tend to prefer more detailed, step-by-step guidance, so it felt a little basic to me.

"Stone’s been holding up well so far"
To be fair, it’s only been through a bit of use so far, but after some heavy rain it still looks solid and hasn’t shown any issues. Seems like a good sign.

"Pretty good stone for the price"
I ordered from Cheshire Sandstone because the price seemed better than a lot of the other places I’d looked at. The stone turned up more or less as expected and it looks good now it’s down. Overall, I’d say it feels like decent value for the money.

"Pretty quick to get back to me"
I had a question about delivery and they got back to me later that same day. It wasn’t immediate, but the reply was helpful and they got my order sorted without any real hassle. I’d be happy to use them again

"Order was right, just had to wait a bit"
I ordered some sandstone slabs online, and to be fair, they turned up exactly as I’d chosen them, same size, same colour, and nothing missing. It’s always reassuring when a company actually sends what you paid for, because that should be the bare minimum.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is that the delivery was a little later than I expected. It wasn’t a huge drama, but being upfront about timing matters. Overall though, I’m happy with the order and would probably use them again

"Actually really good stone for the price"
I ordered the sandstone paving and, actually, it turned out better than I was expecting. The colour mix is really nice, the slabs feel solid, and there were hardly any chipped corners. A few pieces needed a quick rinse, but nothing major at all. It’s all laid now and looks great, so I’m very happy with it.

I’ve ordered from this brand before and usually really like their stuff, so I was a bit torn with this one. The sandstone slabs mostly looked nice, but the colour wasn’t as consistent as I’d hoped. A few were quite different from the rest, so I ended up spending ages moving them around to make it look right. Delivery was fine and nothing was damaged, which was good. I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience, just a bit more hit and miss than I expected from them.

"Didn’t quite work for my patio setup"
I was hoping this would be a quick fix for my patio install, but it just didn’t fit the way I needed it to. Maybe it would work better in a different setup, I’m not sure. The idea seemed fine, and I really wanted it to work, but once I started trying to line everything up, it was a no-go for my space.

"Refund sorted without much fuss"
One of the slabs arrived broken, which was a bit annoying, but they got back to me quickly and offered either a refund or a replacement. I went with the replacement, and it turned up the next week in good condition. Overall, they were fairly easy to deal with

"Driver was helpful enough"
Delivery was okay overall. The driver was helpful and gave me a hand figuring out where to put the stone, which I did appreciate, especially since it was a bit awkward to place. I just wish the timing had been a little clearer, maybe with a more specific update. Not bad at all, just not amazing either...

A few had chipped corners, but nothing so dramatic that I felt like starting a whole saga over it. Delivery took longer than expected, though the driver was helpful enough when it eventually arrived. Overall, decent slabs if you’re not in a huge rush and don’t mind a bit of “character” around the edges.

I kept going back and forth on what to choose, so ordering samples made a big difference. Once I could actually see them in person, it was much easier to make up my mind.
